DigiScrapIt County Fair

I have been VERY lax about posting to my blog as of late but I have been VERY busy. Lots going on in life (let's just say the world has been picking on me for about the last month and leave it at that.) But the main reason I have been busy is the upcoming HUGE event at DigiScrapIt!

It's our 1 year anniversary and we are planning a huge event for it. We are having an 8 day long old fashioned county fair! I can hardly wait to reveal all the stuff that will be going on at DigiScrapIt starting on June 24 and running until July 1st. Mark off LOTS of time on your calendar cause you won't want to miss a minute of this one!

Keep an eye on the site for release of details the first part of next week!

Lots of News at DigiScrapit

I have LOTS of news to talk about today.

We have added 3 new kit designers (and possibly 1 more coming this week) to our team of talented designers. We would like to welcome Jamie Hornback, Julie Major and Dawn Knapp to our happy family of designers. Check out their designs in the new products area of the store. It's worth a look!

Also. we have some new layout artists that have joined our very talented team. Please welcome Sarah Shah, Janeal Kelemen and Julie Major (yes the same one) to our team and be sure to check out their wonderful layouts in our gallery!

Cindy McWilliams has agreed to be our new challenge director at DigiScrapIt. She is gonna rock the site with things for you to participate in! She has already done an Egg Hunt and has another new challenge posted. Starting Monday May 1st she has a sketch challenge for everyone to take part in. Come join the fun and get lots of freebies! Check out her section of the forum!

We also have a new birthday club! There is no cost to join, just be a registered member of the forum and add your birthday to the Members Birthday thread and on your birthday you will get a HUGE mega kit link PM'ed to you. This kit will only be available to our birthday club members! So sign up today!

I added an new tutorial to the tuts section today. It is a PSP 8.0 tutorial on working with layers. I hope you enjoy it. As always, if you have any questions or comments on it just shoot me an email to info@DigiScrapIt.com . Watch for more tutorials coming soon!

Another new area of the site I would like to bring your attention to is in our gallery. We have created a gallery for layout critiques. If you have a layout that you just can't get quite right or you just wnat to know how you are doing, post your layout there and get our advice. Please don't expect flowery praise here though. This section is for our HONEST opinion (and of course that's all it will be is an opinion) of how you can make your layout better!

And one more thing before I go to bed. (I told you I had lots of news today!) We have added a catergory in our forum for you to request a certain type of kit or element or paper, or whatever, that you might be needing and are having a hard time finding. We will do our best to create it!

Ok well I have to go to work tomorrow and it's getting late so I am off to dreamland.

Have a good evening everyone!

Messy Blog

Sorry if my blog looks a little funky from time to time. I have been playing with the layout and I don't have time to finish it all at once. Bear with me and I will get it looking all spiffy and then I will have time to get you something free to download here. I promise some new freebie coming soon.
